BIO and DIRECTIONS
Peabody's Concert Club
is located at 2045 East 21st Street in Cleveland, Ohio. The venue is
between Euclid and Prospect avenues (next to Rascal House). Our Events
are ALL AGES, unless otherwise noted.
The famous Peabody’s Down Under was previously located on the east bank of
the Cuyahoga River in the Flats entertainment district. The former location
was converted from warehouse space and originally opened as the Pirates Cove
in the late 60's. The business changed hands and Peabody's was unveiled in
May 1982. Since then, Peabody's has grown in popularity and prestige and
now boasts two additional venues including Pirates Cove and Rockstar, as
well as three bars, two floors, an outdoor patio, state-of-the art
sound/lights, and over 13,000 square feet.
The club has an ideal location in one of the most thriving districts of the
city. Situated on the campus of Cleveland State University, Peabody’s is
directly behind the Wolstein Center, which holds concerts with attendance of
up to 14,000. One city block away is the Playhouse Square District. The
area is enjoying a major resurgence as the University continues to expand.

Over the years, Peabody's has
presented a wide variety of national artists. Most major artists have performed
on Peabody's stage at one point in their careers. Many alumni have gone on to
tour arenas and sell millions of albums. In addition to its national offerings,
Peabody's is also considered a leader and the primary venue in Cleveland's local
music scene. The club's legendary resume has paralleled Cleveland's Rock & Roll
history on both a national and local level.
